Work Experience

Hi, my name is Awtum Theuer. I have experience in a few different fields. In high school, I nannied for two years working with twin babies. Following high school, I started working for Smoak BBQ as a waitress and have been there for the past three years. I work there when I am not at college. This previous Summer of 2023, I interned as a digital marketing intern with Adult and Teen Challenge Minnesota.

I am currently a digital marketing student at UW-Stout and I am in my third year of college. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2025.

My internship was a crucial step towards my career because it provided me with the life experience I needed to put my college education into action. Moving forward with my education I can relate back to my internship and improve upon the things I was asked to do that I wasn't as skilled at. Experience in the field is important because it fosters relationship building and networking skills, which can be used to grow ones career in the future.
